Our name was inspired by the rhythm and soul of tango music, which flows from the RΓo de la Plata between Argentina and Uruguay.
FounderΒ Paulo MartinezΒ was born in Uruguay, where family, food, and tradition went hand in hand. His earliest inspiration came from his grandfather, a skilled carpenter and cabinet maker who passed down the tools, knowledge, and love of woodworking.
Paulo later studied sculpture and wood carving in art school under a Spanish instructorβwho once counted Picasso among his friends. Those roots in fine art and craftsmanship continue to shape every piece we create today.
From rustic charcuterie boards to Parrillada (Asado) serving boards, Pauloβs designs are shaped by his heritage and his love for sharing meals. What began with custom boards evolved into a full line of handcrafted home productsβeach made with intention, function, and character.
